Preview: Mountain View Lobos vs. Harmony Science Academy
The Mountain View Lobos will head out on the road to face off against Harmony Science Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mountain View has six straight wins, Harmony Science Academy has 11 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Friday, everything came up roses for Mountain View on the road against Ysleta as the squad secured a 51-20 win.
Mountain View got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bresais Escalante out in front who scored eight points along with nine rebounds. Those nine rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalia Salas, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Harmony Science Academy suffered a tough 52-31 defeat at the hands of Clint on Tuesday. Harmony Science Academy has struggled against Clint recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Mountain View has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Harmony Science Academy, they bumped their record down to 2-15 with that loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Mountain View against Harmony Science Academy when the teams last played back in November of 2022 as the team secured a 61-21 victory.
