            While Erie didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Denver North Vikings 13-3 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won four contests by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
 Austin Sieckmann spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered  just two earned  (and one unearned) runs on seven hits.
 At the plate, Erie got a  massive  performance out of  Ronin Ward, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Austin Muir, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4.

 Erie  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .618. The last time their  OBP was this high was  back in April of 2024.
