Basketball Recap: Harrison Central Takes a Loss

Harrison Central suffered their biggest defeat since December 20, 2024 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 66-36 loss at the hands of the Carrollton Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 512th, while the Warriors are ranked 210th).

This is the second loss in a row for Harrison Central and nudges their season record down to 5-10. As for Carrollton, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

Harrison Central will take on St. Clairsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in St. Clairsville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Carrollton has already played their next matchup (against West Branch), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
