Baseball Recap: Necedah Comes Up Short

Necedah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Parkview Vikings, falling 14-0.

Necedah's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Parkview, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, Necedah and Parkview will both be playing Rio the next time they take the field. The Cardinals will head out to face the Vikings at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, while the Vikings will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
