 In what's become a running theme this season, American Leadership Academy gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Thursday. They were the clear victor by  a  12-6 margin over the Providence Hall Patriots. This was a revenge  match for American Leadership Academy, as the team was forced to settle for  a  12-4 defeat when these two played  last Tuesday.
  Ethan Barney spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned  (and two unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Memphis Butler and  Cameron Fenn did most of the damage at the plate:  Butler  went 3-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles, while  Fenn  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 4-for-5.  Carter Ruch was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 On Providence Hall's side,  Westin Willis was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
 American Leadership Academy pushed their record up to 16-7 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  on the road. As for Providence Hall, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record  this season.
 American Leadership Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against Providence Hall: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday.
