Recap: East Vikings vs. Henderson Warriors
The East Vikings entered their tilt with the Henderson Warriors with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. East didn't even let Henderson onto the board and left with a 7-0 win on Friday. This was payback for East, who suffered a 14-7 defeat the last time these two teams met.
East can attribute much of their success to Coby Jaramillo, who rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown.
East's victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-4. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Henderson, Oxford, and Sun Valley. As for Henderson, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East will challenge Phoenixville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Henderson will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Springfield will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
