Mount Pisgah Christian Academy had won two straight home games and Kaylynn Walls did her part to make it three on Friday. Mount Pisgah Christian Academy strolled past the Barbourville Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 55-39 thanks in part to Walls, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 13 rebounds. That's the most points she has posted since back in February of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Jesalyn Howard, who went 6 for 12 on her way to 15 points and six assists. She has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played.

Mount Pisgah Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points over those games. As for Barbourville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16-1 record this season.
