Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Girls Preparatory School

Girls Preparatory School waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Chattanooga Christian Chargers 3-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory last Saturday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-21, 25-6.

Among those leading the charge was Cat Nygaard, who had 14 digs and four assists. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six games.

Girls Preparatory School's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Chattanooga Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Girls Preparatory School will head out to take on Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chattanooga Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Knoxville Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on October 6.
