Rock Creek faced McPherson in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Mustangs never let the Bullpups get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on six straight.

Rock Creek pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for McPherson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-3.

Rock Creek has already played their next match, a 5-1 victory against Iola on the 25th. As for McPherson, they will venture away from home to face off against Collegiate at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
