Basketball Recap: North Stokes Comes Up Short

North Stokes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 44-34 to the East Wilkes Cardinals. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won 38-34.

North Stokes' defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for East Wilkes, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-12 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Stokes will take on South Stokes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Wilkes, they will face off against West Wilkes at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
