Schuylkill Valley proved they can win big on Friday (they won by nine) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Brandywine Heights Area Bullets 3-2. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Schuylkill Valley's record now sits at 10-2. As for Brandywine Heights Area, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Schuylkill Valley will welcome Antietam at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Mountaineers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.5 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Brandywine Heights Area, they will host Pequea Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
