Soccer Recap: St. Andrews-Sewanee Takes a Loss

St. Andrews-Sewanee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Boyd-Buchanan Buccaneers, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, St. Andrews-Sewanee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 261st, while Boyd-Buchanan are ranked 73rd).

St. Andrews-Sewanee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-1. As for Boyd-Buchanan, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4-2.

Coincidentally, St. Andrews-Sewanee and Boyd-Buchanan will both be playing Grace Christian Academy the next time they take the pitch. The Mountain Lions will head out to face the Rams at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Buccaneers will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
