Basketball Recap: Gilmanton/Independence Comes Up Short

Gilmanton/Independence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 56-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran Lancers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Gilmanton/Independence this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-49 back in December of 2024.

Gilmanton/Independence's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Gilmanton/Independence does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran, they will square off against Osseo-Fairchild at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
