Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Neely Warner and Harper Rahn Lead Bloomington South to Victory

While Bloomington South didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Terre Haute South Vigo Braves on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Panthers have posted against the Braves since September 10, 2019.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 25-19.

Bloomington South was led to victory by Harper Rahn and Neely Warner. Rahn had nine digs and two aces, while Warner had ten digs and two assists. Those nine digs gave Rahn a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Bloomington South was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 12 consecutive contests.

Despite the defeat, Terre Haute South Vigo saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ella Wright had 12 digs and two assists. Wright is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Bloomington South's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Terre Haute South Vigo, they moved to 5-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
