After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West-Oak, Pendleton was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Belton-Honea Path Bears by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Bears back in September, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Pendleton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-19, 25-22, 25-18.

Pendleton's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Belton-Honea Path, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Pendleton will take on Crescent at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Belton-Honea Path, they will head out to challenge Palmetto at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
