Basketball Recap: Willmar Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Willmar can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 51-36 victory over the Little Falls Flyers. That's more bragging rights for the Cardinals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Willmar's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9. As for Little Falls, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Willmar will square off against Fergus Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Little Falls, they will head out on the road to face off against Rocori at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rocori knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Little Falls likes a good challenge.
