Basketball Recap: Wausau West Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wausau West can now relate to. They had to suffer through an 82-44 loss at the hands of the Hudson Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 280th, while the Raiders are ranked 43rd).

Wausau West's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Hudson, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Wausau West nor Hudson have any future games scheduled.
