Basketball Recap: Poughkeepsie Comes Up Short

Poughkeepsie lost against Yorktown two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Poughkeepsie Pioneers fell 75-62 to the Yorktown Huskers.

Poughkeepsie's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Yorktown, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Poughkeepsie and Yorktown should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. Poughkeepsie (ranked 153rd) will meet Mahopac (ranked 423rd) at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Yorktown will challenge Carmel at 4:30 p.m. on Friday up 344 places (95 vs. 439).
