Volleyball Game Preview: Bradford Prep Bears vs. North Mecklenburg Vikings

The Bradford Prep Bears will take on the North Mecklenburg Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Bradford Prep is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Metrolina Christian Academy.

Bradford Prep was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-16, 25-9.

Meanwhile, North Mecklenburg came up short against East Mecklenburg on Friday, falling 3-0. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-12, 25-16.

Bradford Prep now has a losing record of 4-5. As for North Mecklenburg, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Bradford Prep might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from North Mecklenburg in their previous matchup back in March of 2023. Can the Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
