Rossville won the last time they faced Frontier and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hornets put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 12-4 win. The victory was nothing new for the Hornets as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Rossville let AJ Kelley and AJ Caplinger run wild. Kelley went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles, while Caplinger went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those three hits gave Kelley a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Zac Wainscott, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Rossville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Rossville pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.5 runs. As for Frontier, they moved to 7-2 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Coming up, Rossville will be playing in front of their home fans against McCutcheon at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Frontier, they will host Twin Lakes at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
