Softball Recap: Paso Robles Picks Up Sixth Straight Win on the Road

Paso Robles proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by nine) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Atascadero Greyhounds 12-10. The win continues a trend for the Bearcats in their matchups with the Greyhounds: they've now won eight in a row.

Kylee Nancolas was incredible, scoring two runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Isabelle Murphy was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-5.

Paso Robles' victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-5-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Atascadero, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.
