West Noble came tearing into Saturday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Mishawaka Cavemen. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Chargers also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2019.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23.

Leading West Noble to victory were Addyson Burns and Kailyn Slone. Burns had seven digs and two aces, while Slone had eight assists and five digs. Those seven digs gave Burns a new career-high.

West Noble's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Mishawaka, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

West Noble has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Northridge on the 23rd. As for Mishawaka, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Lakewood Park Christian on the 23rd.
