Soccer Recap: Diamond Bar Takes a Loss

Diamond Bar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Walnut Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Brahmas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 537th, while the Mustangs are ranked 128th).

Diamond Bar's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-2. As for Walnut, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4-4.

Diamond Bar wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 0-0 draw against Claremont on the 4th. Walnut has also already played their next match, a 5-0 win against Glendora on the 4th.
