After only one run in their last matchup, Giles made sure to put some runs up on the board against Narrows on Friday. The Spartans were the clear victors by an 18-1 margin over the Green Waves. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Addie Lowry made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out 14 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.
