Calvin had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Northwood Falcons by a score of 11-6. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Falcons on March 1st, they had to take a 17-11 loss.
Haley Martin made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. Martin was also big at the plate, going 4-for-5 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
