University not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 27, 2024. They put the hurt on the Irvine Vaqueros with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Vaqueros: they've now won six in a row.

While University won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-21, 26-24.

University's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Irvine, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-11.
