Volleyball Recap: Holmes Beats Bertie for Their 14th Straight Win + How To Watch

Holmes strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Bertie Falcons as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Aces also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2022.

Holmes had a senior duo take command as Harper Evans had 12 assists and eight aces and Dalecia Simpson had seven aces and five assists. Evans is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 39 games she's played dating back to last season. Camryn Goodwin was another key player, getting four aces.

Holmes' victory bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Bertie, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Holmes beat the Falcons by a score of 3-0 later that day.
