 It was a good run, but  the Bullard-Havens Tigers unfortunately witnessed the end of their  six-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell to Amistad  51-47. Bullard-Havens was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Amistad apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in February of 2016.
 Amistad got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Fatema Thomas out in front who  scored 18 points along with seven  rebounds and four  steals. Thomas has been hot recently, having posted two or more  steals the last four times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  LaShaya Patterson, who  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and 12  rebounds.
 Bullard-Havens' defeat  ended a four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 14-4. As for Amistad, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record  this season.
 Bullard-Havens does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Amistad, they won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against Whitney RVT at 3:30  p.m.  on February 16th.
