However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Montgomery Catholic Knights will face off against the Booker T. Washington Golden Eagles at 2:00 p.m. Booker T. Washington took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Montgomery Catholic, who comes in off a win.

Montgomery Catholic is headed into the game having just posted their closest victory since February 21st on Tuesday. They skirted past Alabama Christian Academy 6-5.

Gavin Phelan was incredible, scoring a run and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kam Miller, who scored a run and stole Four bases. while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Booker T. Washington fell victim to Tallassee and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Montgomery Catholic's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-10-1. As for Booker T. Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
