Basketball Game Preview: St. Dominic Bayhawks vs. St. Anthony's Friars

St. Dominic hasn't had much luck against St. Anthony recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The St. Dominic Bayhawks will welcome the St. Anthony's Friars at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

St. Dominic saw some tournament action two weeks ago. They fell 73-64 to Southampton.

Meanwhile, St. Anthony's waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 60-39 win. The Friars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 21 points or more this season.

St. Dominic now has a losing record at 1-2. As for St. Anthony's, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.

St. Dominic skirted past St. Anthony's 55-52 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Will St. Dominic repeat their success, or does St. Anthony's have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
