Basketball Game Preview: North Davidson Black Knights vs. Jordan-Matthews Jets

Having just played yesterday, the North Davidson Black Knights will jump right back in to play the Jordan-Matthews Jets at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither North Davidson nor Jordan-Matthews posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

North Davidson saw some tournament action on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 72-18 loss at the hands of Watauga. While losing is never fun, the Black Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 475th, while the Pioneers are ranked 36th).

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 44-17, which was the final score in Jordan-Matthews' tilt against Ashe County on Thursday. The Jets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jordan-Matthews' defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for North Davidson, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
