Softball Recap: Corcoran Wins Going Away Against Lindsay

Corcoran was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Lindsay on Tuesday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Cardinals. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Cardinals back in April, they had to take a 23-15 loss.

The team relied heavily on Melody Garcia, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.

The victory got Corcoran back to even at 12-12. As for Lindsay, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15-1.

Corcoran didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-0 defeat against Strathmore on the 8th. As for Lindsay, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-4 loss against Granite Hills on the 8th.
