Wiggins is a perfect 10-0 against Yuma since November of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Outlaws at 5:00 p.m.

Wiggins is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Merino just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Rams by a score of 3-2.

Wiggins wouldn't go down easily and took Merino into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking eight-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-20, 25-14, 22-25, 15-7.

Meanwhile, Yuma earned a 3-1 win over Haxtun on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Outlaws.

Yuma's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Wiggins, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 9-4.

Wiggins took their win against Yuma when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
