Volleyball Recap: Monrovia Bulldogs vs. Cascade Cadets

Monrovia lost against Cascade back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Cadets, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cascade was led to victory by Lacie Godby and Lilli Romero. Godby had 21 assists and nine digs, while Romero had seven digs and three aces. That's the most assists Godby has posted over her last seven contests.

Monrovia's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Cascade, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Monrovia will take on Martinsville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cascade, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Northview on the 26th.
