Recap: East/World of Inquiry vs. Whitesboro Warriors

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for East/World of Inquiry, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. Their rough 43-20 defeat to the Warriors on Friday might stick with them for a while. East/World of Inquiry's loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

East/World of Inquiry's loss came despite strong showings from Ervin Wiggins Jr. and Zymier Jackson. Wiggins Jr. gained 76 total yards and two touchdowns, while Jackson threw for 185 yards and a touchdown.

East/World of Inquiry's defeat dropped their record down to 12-1. As for Whitesboro, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

East/World of Inquiry does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Whitesboro is on the road again on Saturday and play against Somers at 3:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Both teams have allowed few points on average, (Somers: 11, Whitesboro: 14.8) so any points scored will be well earned.
