Clinton has gone a perfect 10-0 against Quabbin Regional recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Gaels will be playing at home against the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Clinton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

Clinton will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run last Wednesday, then bounced right back against Littleton on Wednesday. The Gaels blew past the Tigers 14-4. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 17, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Leo Repole made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. She also put up two walks, which were her first of the season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Grace Alvarado, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5. She also brought in two RBI, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ava Varakis, who scored three runs while going 2-for-5.

Clinton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Littleton only posted a batting average of .185.

Meanwhile, Quabbin Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gardner. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Quabbin Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Clinton, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Clinton took their victory against Quabbin Regional in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 12-6 score. Will the Gaels repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
