Basketball Recap: Berryhill Victorious

Berryhill won the last time they faced Tulsa CHEF and things went their way on Monday too. The Berryhill Chiefs came out on top in a nail-biter against Tulsa CHEF, sneaking past 43-41. The victory was some much needed relief for the Chiefs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Tulsa CHEF's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaiya Pennington, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Justyce Walters, who had six points and six steals.

Berryhill's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Tulsa CHEF, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berryhill won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Cushing at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tulsa CHEF, they will take on Oklahoma City Knights HomeSchool at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday.
