Volleyball Recap: Tolland Takes a Loss

Tolland lost against Edwin O. Smith back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Tolland was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Edwin O. Smith work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-15, 25-15.

Tolland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Edwin O. Smith, with the victory, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 4-5.

Tolland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against East Hartford on the 22nd. Edwin O. Smith does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
