It's playoff time, and Box Elder had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Salem Hills Skyhawks on Friday, sneaking past 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Bees: when they faced off against the Skyhawks on Thursday, they had to take a 9-2 loss.

Kennadie Blackmer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kailee Hall, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run and two runs.

Box Elder's victory bumped their record up to 29-5. As for Salem Hills, the defeat snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 31-2 record.

Box Elder will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Skyhawks: the pair will be back at it again later today.
