McAllen is 9-1 against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The team relied heavily on Chloe Mariscal, who scored a run while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Katalyna Rojas also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

McAllen was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .423 or higher in four consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest fell victim to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 13-0 to the Raiders.

The victory got McAllen back to even at 6-6. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

McAllen might still be hurting after the 18-7 defeat they got from Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest in their previous meeting back in February. Can McAllen avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
