Football Recap: Cheshire Academy Finds Playoff Glory Versus Dexter Southfield

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cheshire Academy had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They walked away with a 31-20 victory over Dexter Southfield. The win was familiar territory for the Cats, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Keegan Croucher was the offensive standout of the game as he threw for 276 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.0 yards per attempt. What's more, he racked up 120.9 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September. 106 of Croucher's passing yards were hauled in by Aidan Good, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Cheshire Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Dexter Southfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-3 record this season.
