Montwood came tearing into Friday's matchup with ten straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Plainview Bulldogs by a score of 2-0.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Montwood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gabriela Garay, who had six digs and two aces. That's the most digs Garay has posted over her last ten games. Isabella Meneses was another key player, getting nine digs and three assists.

Montwood's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Plainview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-12.

Montwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Midland Legacy on the 30th. As for Plainview, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Hobbs on the 30th.
