Taylor County blew East Jessamine out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday East Jessamine got their revenge. The Cardinals fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 3-1. The Cardinals' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Taylor County's defeat dropped their record down to 22-7. As for East Jessamine, their win ended a ten-game drought at home and bumped them up to 17-20.

Coming up, Taylor County will host Casey County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rebels have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.65 runs per game on average), something the Cardinals will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for East Jessamine, they will face off against Taylor at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday. The Jaguars will need to watch out since the Yellowjackets have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
