Football Game Preview: Dartmouth Indians vs. Bridgewater-Raynham Trojans

Dartmouth hasn't had much luck against Bridgewater-Raynham recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Indians will look to defend their home field against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. This will be Dartmouth's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.

Dartmouth is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Barnstable on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Indians were dealt a 35-7 loss at the hands of the Red Hawks. The contest marked the Indians' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bridgewater-Raynham). They claimed a resounding 48-7 victory over New Bedford. The win was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won three games in a row.

Dartmouth better keep an eye on Jack Lambert. He was instrumental in Bridgewater-Raynham's win, throwing for 223 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes. Another player making a difference was Jack Mattar, who picked up 56 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Having lost for the first time this season, Dartmouth fell to 5-1. As for Bridgewater-Raynham, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
