Soccer Game Preview: Mission Vista vs. El Camino

Mission Vista will venture away from home to face off against the El Camino Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. El Camino took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Mission Vista, who comes in off a win.

Mission Vista's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Chula Vista Learning Community Charter 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for Mission Vista.

They hit Chula Vista Learning Community Charter with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Oliver Uribe, Jacob Duclos, and Mario Callejas.

Meanwhile, El Camino has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 17. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Vista on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 727th, while the Panthers are ranked 305th).

Mission Vista's victory bumped their record up to 8-9-4. As for El Camino, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-4.
