Basketball Recap: Kotlik Falcons vs. Scammon Bay Eagles

It was a Battle of the Birds when Kotlik faced off against Scammon Bay on Thursday. The Kotlik Falcons fell 58-47 to the Scammon Bay Eagles. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Scammon Bay to victory, but perhaps none more so than CHARLIE KAGANAK, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. With that strong performance, KAGANAK is now averaging an impressive 8.2 boards per game. Another player making a difference was CHRISTIAN CHANDLER, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 13 points.

Kotlik's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Scammon Bay, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
