 The Liberty Union Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hamilton Township Rangers at 5:15  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
 Liberty Union is headed into the  match fresh off scoring the most  runs they have all season. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Logan Elm  on Wednesday and snuck past  11-10. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Liberty Union considering their one-run performance the  matchup before.
  Tanner Farmer made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out seven batters over  5.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off   eight  hits (and only one walk). Farmer was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in all six of his plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Cam Wood was  excellent,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-6. Another player making a difference was  Alex Johnson, who  went 1-for-6 with a  stolen base and two  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Hamilton Township had just enough and edged Logan out  7-6 on Thursday.
 Liberty Union is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-10 record  this season. As for Hamilton Township, their victory bumped their record up to 14-5.
