Union Area entered their tilt with South Side on Wednesday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Rams 14-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-2 last Thursday.

Union Area got a massive performance out of Nevaeh Hunt, who fired off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. Irelyn Fisher was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one triple.

Union Area was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in six consecutive contests.

Union Area's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for South Side, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Union Area will challenge West Middlesex at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Side, they will head out to challenge Bishop Canevin at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
