Charlestown is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell to Corydon Central 49-43. Despite 118 more yards than the Panthers, the Pirates couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Despite the loss, Charlestown got top-tier performance from Boomer Hester, who rushed for 288 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Those 288 rushing yards gave Hester a new career-high. Ryan Shields also helped out as he racked up 104 rushing yards.

Even though they lost, Charlestown was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 492 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Logan Dent continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 131 yards and three touchdowns. Adam Mull got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
