Softball Recap: Nogales Takes a Loss

Nogales lost against Douglas back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Nogales came up short against Douglas, falling 12-3. The Apaches have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nogales saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zendy Peralta, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Nogales now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Douglas, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Nogales didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-0 defeat against Flowing Wells on the 22nd. As for Douglas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-2 victory against Rio Rico on the 22nd.
